Mike Barlow’s first collection Living on the Difference (Smith/Doorstop 2004) was shortlisted for the Jerwood Aldeburgh Prize. A pamphlet, Amicable Numbers (Templar 2008) was a Poetry Book Society pamphlet choice. He has two further collections, Another Place (Salt 2007) and Charmed Lives (Smith/Doorstop 2012).
He has won prizes in a number of competitions, including first prize in The National Poetry Competition, The Ledbury Competition and The Amnesty International Competition.
